Wicked, the only time I feel guilty watching something is if Patrick Swayze is doing Kung Fu fighting in it. Or Simon Cowell. But NOT if Simon Cowell were doing Kung Fu fighting. Nope. Wouldn't feel a BIT guilty about watching that At ALL.
Yeah, I'm a nurse, alright. Whatcha gonna do about it?
I heart The Scary. I started watching scary movies around the same time I started watching Sesame Street, and while I've never been scared of a puppet, I have been comforted by Frankenstein movies from time to time. I have a Boat-load of scary movies. Yeah, I said it. BOAT LOAD. If you're nice to me, I'll even let you count them all. I'll make the martinis. Counting is fun when you're tipsy.
Too much direct sunlight makes me feel yucky inside.
I'm never happier than when the sky gets overcast and cloudy, the winds pick up, and you can feel the rain in the air.
I love most parts of the genre from Lon Chaney Sr silent films to Universal Monsters to 50's monster films to Vincent Price to Hammer to Grindhouse/Exploitation to Herschell Gordon Lewis to Ted Mikels to Bava to Fulci to Argento to Romero to werewolves to the French horror films of the last couple years.
My four favorite films (in order) are:
1. Dawn of the Dead (the ORIGINAL)
2. Devil's Rejects
3. Young Frankenstein
4. Faster Pussycat Kill Kill
"Another blog I've only recently discovered, Mother Firefly's posts have a unique and lighthearted tone that simply put me in a good mood. Couple that with good writing and subject matter and you've got an underrated blog well worth the read."-Emily from The Deadly Doll's House of Horror Nonsense
Mother Firefly is, quite simply, an über cool lady and her blog is a delicious den of horrifying goodness. Love her. - Jinx from Totally Jinxed
